How do skin problems develop?
Our skin gives us precise information about the state of our body, you just need to know how to "read" the signs of skin. Also the medical man in ancient times first observed the skin thoroughly, the face in particular its colour, consistency, unevenness, the spots , blotches on it, and therefore they knew the possible cause of the main problems.
Lifestyle
Damaging effects might be:
- smoking
- unhealthy diet
- not enough exercise
- lack of fresh air
- radiation of computers
- watching television
- sitting at work, etc.
Teeth
The following issues enhance the development of skin problems:
- root-treated teeth (because there are metal stifts in them)
- amalgam fillings
- dental bridges because they are made of enamel burnt on metal
- enamel crownwork
- metal braces
- periods of teeth changes
- wisdom tooth
This is the reason for acnes and comedoes appearing on the cheek bones, under the jaw, on the temporal and around the ears, but red, itchy blemishes or hair growth disorder might occur as well.
So it is important to draw the attention of the client to the fact that the teeth problems listed above and metal treated teeth can lead to inflamed foyers, so it is advisory to take a complete blood test.
Furthermore, also draw the attention of the client to choose toothpaste with no fluoride content. We suggest e.g. Dabur (Indian) or Paradontax fluoride free products instead of the regular ones.
Fluoride simply takes the place of iodine, so it causes iodine and vitamin deficiency, ageing symptoms and collagen destruction.
Usage of improper toiletries and cosmetic products
Soap wash is very important!
Soaps produced from vegetable fats (are alkaline) soften and dissolve the dead horny cells, so the skin does not thicken; it is capable of self-cleansing and green sign is given for skin treatment products. Besides, soap is a natural agent with no damaging effects either on the skin or the environment. To scrub the dead horny cells use a luffa sponge for the body and a washing sponge for the face.
Creamy shower products do not assist the clearance of the dead horny cells, so the skin gets thicker. Creamy shower gels (acidic) dissolve the lipid agents from the horny layer, but they do not soften the horn, so the dead horny cells do not wear off, but they get thicker and create an isolating layer.
This way the skin is not capable of self-cleansing and it is not ready for the intake of body care products. The skin feels stretchy, dry and itchy and has blotchy patches.
We can form three different groups for improper cosmetic products:
- too oily creams: because of the dry feeling clients often use too oily creams
- steroid creams with vaseline given to treat inflamed skin: the skin atrophies under these creams
- creams with lanolin: since they are animal originated and high in cholesterol, as an effect they might cause the increase of inflammation
Meaty diet
All skin problems are aggravated by high meat consumption diet.
It is the most difficult to digest collagen, keratin and elastic fibres, which explains the problematic digestion of sticky meat with skin and tendon and its juice. (Meat soup, soup cubes, package soups, all gelatinous meat, fish, chicken, cold cut mixes, etc.)
The breaking down of the protein into amino-acids (we are building our own protein from this) uses up a lot of energy, since the body has to produce different enzymes for each step. But the ensymates have to break down these protein breaking down enzymes, otherwise they attack the stomach which might result in the development of ulcer. The skin is also affected, it becomes reddish and inflamed covered with acnes and comedoes.
The collagen and elastic fibres are “dangerous” waste for the body since they cannot be broken down and they turn the inner environment of the intestines acidic and this destroys the intestinal flora and it becomes incapable to function (anaemia, spread of Candida might occur).
When consuming meat, the Ca ions move from the bones to the blood. When consuming vegetables, this process is the other way around so the Ca ion gets from the blood to the bones and this way we can avoid the formation of osteoporosis. As an effect children will have strong teeth and bones, but of course there is also need for reasonable exposure of sunlight as well.
Recommended diet:
Lacto and ovo vegetarian diet (it is the type of vegetarian diet, where the consumption of animal food of natural origin is allowed): regular consumption of fresh fruit, raw vegetables, noodles, rice, potato, and the following animal originated food: egg, cottage cheese, cheese and milk. The vitamin, mineral salt and trace element content of all these food is high and it is easy for the intestinal flora to break these down so they do not have a negative effect on the body.
The role of the hormones
The androgen hormones are significantly responsible for the development of acnes, comedoes, excessive hair growth and allergies. The sebaceous and sweat glands produce these hormones in the skin.
This it why it often happens that the above mentioned skin problems are treated with hormone therapies. But hormone therapies might have serious side effects, e.g. breast, ovarian or uterine cancer, thrombosis, etc.
The so called A vitamin derivatives are mainly prescribed for boys which also have anti-androgen effect. Unpleasant side effects occur here as well since they stop the operation of the hormone glands not only in the skin, but also in the testicles, prostate gland and adrenal cortex.
Recommendation: usage of phytoestrogens (herbal oestrogen).
Using herbal oestrogen we can counterbalance the androgen overproduction of the skin without any side effects. The phytoestrogen content of some plants like linseed, clover, Vitex Agnus Castus, yucca, hop, tomato, both the seeds and the pulp of hot paprika, nettle and different cabbage types, etc. is extremely high.
